Introduction
You are members of an new community setting up a Utopian society on a newly discovered island. Your group is charged with advising the community about an appropriate system of justice that will be fair to all. To do this you will need to compare and analyse the trial of Tom Robinson in To Kill a Mockingbird with other famous trials from fiction and real life.

Significant Problem
Your group will need to develop an understanding of how the legal system might discriminate against certain individuals and groups.

Your group consists of four individuals:
1. A legal aid solicitor
2. A philosopher
3. A social worker
4. A judge
