Melbourne High School is the only selective State School in Victoria
for boys in Years 9 –12. The School continues to maintain
its standing as one of the finest schools in Australia and develops
the finest thinkers and leaders in Australia.
The School is located close to the Melbourne Central Business District
in the suburb of South Yarra, near the corner of Chapel Street and

Staff commence - Wenesday 27 January at 9am
Year 9 commence (report to the Memorial Hall) - Friday 29 January at 9am
Year 9, 10, 11 and 12 commence with form assembly - Monday 1 February at 8.50am
All students - Monday 1 February

Enrolment at Year 9 is determined by an Entrance Examination,
held in June each year. High academic expectations continue through
the School, resulting in outstanding VCE results and tertiary placements.
