ENTRY AT YEARS 11 and 12

• Melbourne High School has a limited number of vacancies available for entry at Years 11 and 12.
• Selection is via an application form and interview. There is no entrance examination for entry into Years 11 and 12.
• Applicants must submit the application form, accompanied by a copy of their current mid-year report.
• The application form asks for evidence demonstrating academic and co-curricular achievements and a personal statement outlining reasons for wanting to join Melbourne High School.
• Applicants are shortlisted and a limited number will be called for interview.

• Significant Enrolment dates:

  • The Application Form for entry into Year 11 will be available from July 2008. Do not submit an application until your mid year report is available.

  • Closing date for Year 11 Applications – Friday, 15th August 2008

• Wednesday 19 March at 5:30 pm & 7:00 pm
• Wednesday 30 April at 5:30 pm & 7:00 pm
  School Tours will beg at 4:30 pm & 6:30 pm

HOW TO APPLY

For year 11 in 2009 there will be a maximum of 5 vacancies.
For entry into year 12 there will be no vacancies in 2009.

  Print and complete the "Year 11 and 12 Application Form".
  
  NOTE: The application form must be handwritten by the applicant.
  Ring the Registrar on 9823 7199 if there are any difficulties.
