Strategies for Studying Texts |
|
| |
|
|
 |
-
Everyone has their own note-taking method
and you may or may not wish to follow these models.
-
We are providing you with a few simple strategies to help you
focus on the key features to look for when studying your texts.
-
The concept map below outlines the main features in any text.
-
By clicking on the concept map, you will be able to explore
each key feature in detail.
-
Use the questions in each concept map and record your responses
either by extending the 'maps', rewriting these into your workbook,
or by drawing up tables using each of the 'maps' (circles) as
your sub-headings.
-
By doing this you save time and have
in depth notes for assessment tasks, SACs and exam revision.
