Assessment

Your work will be assessed against the following criteria that assesses the extent to which you have demonstrated the development of the key knowledge and skills for the task.

Understanding of the task and set text

  • Knowledge and understanding of the task
  • Knowledge and understanding of each story and the purpose of the text as a whole
  • Knowledge and understanding of short story elements, narrative techniques, and the ideas and issues presented in the collection of stories
  • Ability to draw relevantly on these in the creation of a minimum of two original written texts
