Outstanding Business Management Results making us Number 1 again in 2007. 2007 was again a superb year for Business Management. Since its introduction in 1994, Business Management at Melbourne High has achieved the best results in Victoria every year. In 2007 we obtained 13 perfect scores of 50. An incredible amount of students studying Business Management achieved a study score of 40 or above (students with a score of 40 and above are in the top 7.5% in the state).
Congratulations to the 13 students who obtained perfect Study Scores of 50 in 2007. This was a great effort.
Congratulations
to David Chan and Chris Shearer who have won the Premier's
VCE Award in Business Management. The Premier's Awards recognise the
top 5 students in a VCE subject in Victoria. Winning two Premier's Awards
in one school is a great achievement. In total Business Management students
at Melbourne High have received 20 Premier's Awards in 13 years. Outstanding.
Congratulations to Harry Wan who won the Corporate Social Responsibility essay competition presented in Canberra by Mr. John Howard. High School wins the very Prestigious Most Enterprising School in Australia

Grenfell wins the YAA Victorian Business Person of the Year.
(7 out of the 12 finalists were from Melbourne High) - A Great Effort.

Business Person of the Year. A phenominal Achievement.
Yay
Enterprises directed by Melbourne High School students' Steven Banks,
Duncan Fitzpatrick, Nick Duke, Travis Grenfell and Nick Ward is named
Company of the Year. Other companies directed by Melbourne High students
collected many awards, ranging from Excellence in E-Commerce to Environmental
Company of the Year.
Yay
also won the National Business Plan of the Year Award against both Secondary
and Tertiary competitors. Yay also won the Best Annual Report Award.
Congratulations, this was a fantastic effort.
Congratulations to Vincent Dang for winning
the Young Achievement Lord Somers' Leadership Award for Outstanding
Leadership. This Award is presented to one male and one female from
Victoria who have shown Outstanding Leadership during the Young Achievement
Program.
